Our Concepts
Under Animal Partners Singapore,
We serve the unique needs of different communities and demographics, as such, our distinct concepts reflect these specialized focus areas.
Many of our concepts began as passionate, ground-up projects driven by youth changemakers and academic alumni, evolving into the evidence-backed services and concepts you see below:
Centre for Human-Animal Connection
Initially established as a physical safe space for animal interaction, the team later recognised that bringing animal-assisted engagements directly into the community created deeper and more meaningful impact across diverse groups.
CAAI
A ground-up initiative started by Temasek Polytechnic Students/Alumni (2022) focusing on institutional and community visits with animals. Through these engagements, the team fosters meaningful connections that support emotional well-being, social interaction, and community well-being.
Project Integrate
A project started by students and alumni from Temasek Polytechnic, James Cook University, and Nanyang Polytechnic (2022), centred on interactive psychosocial frameworks that support youth-at-risk and justice-impacted individuals through practical, evidence-informed life skills development.
SilverConnect
A community well-being concept initially introduced through resident and youth networks, focused on supporting active ageing, cognitive engagement, and social connectedness through animal-assisted activities and meaningful interaction.
Tactile Tails
A Temasek Polytechnic student-led initiative featuring a multi-sensory approach that combines experiential arts, hands-on craft workshops, and direct animal interactions to encourage creativity, engagement, and emotional expression.
Resili-Hens
A concept developed by Republic Polytechnic alumni that incorporates chicken interactions into guided sessions focused on grounding techniques, sensory engagement, emotional regulation, and experiential learning.
